 Let us add our Congratulations to the Roatan Island Tigers Taekwondo School right here at Jackson Plaza! They've just returned from the 2010 World Taekwondo Open in Mexico. There were 35 countries represented by approximately 3,000 participants. Local sponsors included Eldon Hyde, Albert Jackson, Stanley Fink, John McNab and family, Alex and Collette Montiel as well as the Island Tigers Parents Association and everyone who took part in the BBQ fundraiser.

In case you're counting, yes, that's a total of 7 Medals awarded to Roatan's Island Tigers. There were only 12 awarded so that left only 5 medals for the other 34 countries! Is that awesome or what! The President of Honduras should come congratulate these girls in person and thank the coach and trainer, Michelle and Luis Alvarado for this wonderful accomplishment.
